BIG interview with Optus on Monday morning. I
know; not Telstra, but right up my alley. On sight Service Manegement Officer. On sight with ATO and pretty much what I was doing with the big T before I
got the big flick. Gavo...It's Service Delivery, but with another mob. :) Am very excited and big opportunity. Here's hoping... Fingers and toes

Have covered over the Telstra insignia on my portfolio. Phew! Can't be showing that! Thanks Ainsworthm, Having a quiet day and yes Gags, will have a nice early Sunday night and will walk and possibly yoga in the morning before getting ready. Hey Gavo...I shall "Hit the ground running!!!??" (eeeeeeeeeeow!!) Sadly I still remember pretty much all the corporate lingo... I will just be well caffeinated. Thanks everyone. How cool is that! Onya Roba!  No news of the job as yet. Think it may take longer due Optus using
another agency also, which would mean interviewing more candidates. Waiting, waiting. Oh...Doorstop...Silly me eh?? I do know the difference between site
and sight!!! Doh!!

Just an update. Very good friend and ex-boss has
given me an excellent verbal reference for the position on Tuesday. Noice... My consultant from Hays has just phoned me and advised that Optus have requested
a copy of my passport. This is a very good sign. Means they're checking me out further. Of course with most of the jobs I apply for they do security
checks as a rule; however, with this job security clearance is also required. So far so good.

Woo hoo! I start 9am Monday morning and am
excited and nervous all at once! The hardest part is ALL the paperwork, but need a new printer cartridge...Doh! I have formally accepted the position and
will be one step and one day at a time.
