Starts around 9 am. It will include all types of bikes both modern, classic and vintage. Anyone visiting the island is more than welcome to drop in. Goes more like this. 5 T shirts 5 pairs nickers 2 pairs jeans 1 pair of shorts or three quarter pants 1 good top for "formal" dinner 5 pairs socks 1 pair of thongs (flip flops to the foreigners...) not G-strings.. ha ha 1 swimming costume 1 pair joggers 1 tracky dacks 1 pair jimmy jams 1 pair nice sandles/shoes Optional: 1 Summer dress 1 Cardigan (May not need this being QLD??) Toiletries/makeup/couple of small jewellery pieces, SUNBLOCK 1 Sun hat 1 pair sunglasses 1 Summer riding jacket 1 light jacket/coat 1 pair slippers ONE HAIRDRYER 1 Camera 1 tambourine 1 handbag/purse Believe it or not the majority of this fits into the top box. Summer clothing is lighter and thinner and takes up much less space with my exceptional packing skills. Wearing: Helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, draggin jeans, rings, watch. Carrying in pockets. Haven't had the bike down often enough though Am eyeing off one of the Tassie FarRides and even thinking of bringing one of the kids down on the back (but that might be subject to Greater - read SWMBO -Laws!) The Sept one looks like it might be too tight on the Tottenham ride for my 'leave pass' ... Thehehe ... And I understand the weather's been a little blowy and cool recently. What's it normally like end Aug into Sep? And ... not sure if you're the person to ask .. but do you know if there's another tentative FarRide date planned (next year)? Cheers, Trevor (gb)
