Manual says refer to Kawasaki Agent.
Had 60K service yesterday and mechanic explained that Kawasaki say battery in wheel sensor can't be replaced and you need a complete new sensor which costs some hundreds of $'s. Mechanic went on to explain that another customer had the same failure recently so he inspected the sensor to find a simple off the shelf lithium battery is soldered into place. Bought replacement from local chemist but found you can't hot solder lithium batteries - it exploded. He than tried an alternative using a conducting paste and silicon to hold the battery in place. So far the fix has been successful and if done during tyre change cost is minimal..
For now I will wait until next tyre change and he will try the same fix on mine.
Will keep you posted

. Part Number CR2032VC. There was no charge for it. It was done as part of the
12000k service. I didn't think to ask it it was covered by the warranty but it was not mentioned on the service report.
