In 2007 I took part in the 1st Long Ride to Darwin, I joined up with them part way through and the ride raised about $41,000 for RFDS 2008 is heading to Perth, see link HERE The weekend before this (I planned it this way) is the 5th Annual GTR-AUS Meet so I will be on that side of the country already. On Monday the 20th of October I will head from the west coast back towards the east. The reason is to ride out and meet those heading towards Perth for The Long Ride. I will then head west to Perth with these riders for the final meet and party at Perth. If anyone is keen please post or let me know. Going by the suggested routes which are all the same for eastern riders from Port Augusta onwards. LINK You can see that this is their plan for overnight stops: 20th - Port Augusta 21st - Ceduna 22nd - Mundrabilla Roadhouse 23rd - Norseman 24th - Kellerberrin - update 25th - Perth I plan to ride out to Mundrabilla to meet them then stay with them to Perth. I'm thinking of doing an early start on the Saturday morning and meeting up with the ride....maybe out at Kelleberrin. Dave...what time does the ride normally get going of a morning? (So I can time my arrival, refueling etc). Here for a good time, not a long time.

After the Busso GTR-AUS meet I will still head out to meet the Long Riders at: 22nd - Mundrabilla Roadhouse But I will now be continuing home after that.
