Hello there
I've been following this site for a while, and I thought I'd post up the next ride. Two mates and I are going around the country (about 17 000kms) in 14 days. I'm a bit nervous about the bit of dirt we are doing up the top end, but I'm sure the Hayabusas will be fine, they are known for their off-road ability. We're taking an 04 busa (mine) and two '08 brand new busas. Sounds like a pretty extreme way to run a bike in to me. With over 1 200kms a day for 14 days straight, we figure we will be walking like cowboys by the time we get home.
I'd be really happy to discuss with someone who has done the Burketown Borroloola leg, things like road quality, water crossings and fuel stops.
Happy for any advice apart from don't do it. I figure if we are going to get helpful advice, this is the place. All three of us (Heidi, Bruce and Simmo) are experienced riders and not scared of a challenge.
Cheers
Heidi
P.S. We are all from the Hayabusa Owners Site
