Couple pulled out overnight, the list is current apart from Ray who can't make it now. Still a good number of riders and our best yet.

Just finishing up a couple of things here and we're off. Wouldn't you know it, the battery died on the Wing so a quick run to the battery shop and all
go again. We'll be starting our 1000km day from Armidale, lunch at Tottenham, then finish at Warialda. Here's the link to our SPOT http://jasonjonas.org/spot/tripViewer.do?id=394 I see there are at least three others on the JasonJonas
pages. See you all there.

G'day Mel,
I'll be staying at Moree overnight as well, at the Moree Spa Motor Inn, if you get bored give me a call on either 0411-740-717 or 0488-023-553 & say hello. Same goes for anyone else staying at Moree tonight, and Bandit will be arriving there between 11-12 tonight & we'll head off about 6 for Tottenham. Cheers Rob

93TigerBill left Tottenham due east. John and I headed north-east to trace the "Ox" from Nevertire to Wauchope. Took a quick detour after Gilgandra
via the Warrumbungles toward Coonabarrabran.
Roo ted. I hit a roo at about 95km/h. Square-on, she simply hopped straight out in front of me. Mother dead, I caught the joey and put it in a pouch-sized bag and the passing local fireys handed him on to WIRES for me. No passing vehicles for the next 3 hours. Headlights broken. Axle bent. Possibly a fork, but hard to tell with the wheel still in. Bleeding green at the scene. Oil drops later on. Wouldn't start. John did a great job rustling up the NRMA truck. We stayed the night in Coona (short of a 1000km). John headed home in the rain this morning. My wife came up in the ute and collected me. Home by lunch.

Glad you're ok. Hope the bike is not badly damaged. Had a close shave myself well before dusk between Young and Booroowa, but it was more of a scare than
anything more serious. Too many roos around here at the moment. It was a pleasure to meet up with so many riders who enjoy doing distance work as much - or
more- than I do. Tagged a couple of guys for a while when we met at an intersection of different back-roads near Gooloogong. VSTROM and FJR - Possibly Shane
and Muzza? Anyway, I had a great trip back with 1140 kms for the day. Backed that up with another 460 with Ulysses on Sunday. Catch up with you guys next
time. Cheers all. Mick (New guy with R1150R).

slippery and roos everywhere ! I had a good trip home ,other than the rain ,lightning , kamakazee sheep cows rabbits and birds between Cobar and Hillston
!Made it home safely (Melb) by 6-00pm

Shit Ox - I'm very glad to hear you are ok after that.
Alway a
bit of a shock.
I was keenly aware of them particularly the last 180 km in SA near home, but I think the wind/rain kept them low. Cheers, Craig

Sorry for not posting last night and it seems my last Spot didn't stick and shows me at Nambour.
What a great FarRide for the ride, the turnout and wow what a great rally. The site was excellent and the crowd of about 130+ was awesome. Got home at 9pm last night, Sunday for 1250k home, left at 8am. Came home via Armidale down to Grafton through the twisties then up the coast. Very pleased with the cruise control. Had another cop pull be over south of Coona on Saturday just to talk about the bike, 4th time now that's happened. Please mista cop you have held me up now can I get a picture........... thanks.
Bugger with the Roo, hope it all works out. Final numbers and more later tonight after work.
