I met an interesting couple at work tonight, Lew & Anita from the UK who are traveling the world on a Yamaha 900 &
600.

They only landed in Brisbane a few days ago & are heading south & are enjoying our beaches.

I forgot to mention they have been on the road FOUR years!
Been through Europe, North & South America, NZ & now here. Don't you wish you could do that?

At the Horizons Unlimited Travellers Meeting in Tintldra last weekend there were a number of riders from overseas. Germany, Switzerland and Austria (if I
remember correctly) were represented. They scheduled the meeting into their travel plans months before.Very interesting folk with very interesting stories to
tell over the weekend.
Horizons Unlimite is a wonderful source of information. www.horizonsunlimited.com Try subscribing to the ezine, itmakes a wonderful rad once every 2 months or so. One of the Swiss showed photographs of the KTM powered paddle wheelers that he and a fellow traveller built in Africa for a little river trip in Mali. Actually, it ran well until the "I have never welded before" welding failed. He saved up for 5 years to pay for the trip.
