I was expecting Colin or Glenn to have posted a report on our ride yesterday, but seeing as they haven't.........
Davo, Glenn & myself set off from Kelmscott at 9am on a glorious day. You know what they say.....W.A, beautiful one day.....doh, that's Qld. Anyway the weather was great, although it was a bit overcast first up, but that was good.
We travelled along the Brookton Hwy to Karragulen and weaved our way along the scenic windy route to Kalamunda, where we turned off and headed off passed the Mundaring Weir to Sawyers Valley. There we met up with Colmar, who then led us through some twisties to Chidlow, Wundowie and on to Toodyay (prenounced Toojay). We stopped for a coffee there before heading off to Northam. A picture shoot ensued there, down by the Avon River. From there we went to the historic town of York, where we stopped for lunch. It was 'home James' from there after a stop at Colin's place. BBQ at my place thereafter.
Great ride. Clocked up 329km by the time I got home.
