Well so far so good... sorta

Davo didnt get much sleep lastnight no doubt restless about the big ride ahead, he finally fell asleep about 1.30am sleeping for an hour which made him a little late for his take off time of 2.30am from the hotel. He took off just before 3am from the service station which was his planned take off time, reaching his first destination of Moree at about 7.30am, which is about an hour before schedule.

He has encountered a few hiccups on the way, his speedo cable broke 250kms into the ride so he is currently trying to average out his time with kilometres ridden so he can get an approximate of how his speed is doing he also rang Glenn to ask the average revs compared to speed to get an accurate idea of speed and he also had an unfortunate encounter with his camel back he thinks from leaning back against the secondary fuel tank (it sprung a hole and he now will have to ride with staminade residue sticking to his shirt and pants )

All and all he says he feels pretty good, old body is holding up fine for him.

Another phone call.... he is now riding with an outside temperature of 37 degrees Celsius or 99.2 degrees Fahrenheit.

I'm not sure, he said he would organise it when he got there i'll ask him next time he rings. (which at the moment is about every half hour.... I think he misses me... ) Oh by the way he has just hit Nyngan (12 noon my time), so he is making good time.
