I have a 2014 GTR1400,I went with a Sargent seat which I find exceptional on longer rides, also no concerns with a Shad48 top box fittings. The Sargent is firm. The design of the Sargent seat eliminates that angle forward concern with both rider and pillion. My weight is arround 100kg.The original seat is too soft.In the instruction manual with the bike Kawasaki say that the suspension is set up for a 68kg rider at the factory.I suspect the seat was designed also for a 68kg rider.
I fitted a sheep skin cover for additional comfort on those hot days in QLD.
