made a bracket up to sit over left over mount and put a small self tapping screw through
top to hld in place ,might not be the best but held in place for 9000 km so far and if it does
let go no worse off than before. Hope this helps .

If you set it up well you won't put enough heat in there to melt the plastic compliance sticker or mark the ally id plate, I welded  across right above the ally and there is not a mark on it if you are not melting plastic or aluminum you have no chance of damaging the frame if you have patience and can weld a bit it is a piece of cake
