I was surprised at just how much more grunt your bike had, Ken. It really was a blast coming back here from Minyip. I think son now realizes that it is a fairly serious bike too;) Young men at 21 often know far more than us older guys.
Went for a very quick ride on my bike taking a couple of his mates as pillion passengers (at different times) on Sunday after the party. The first bloke (Denis) hadn't been on a big bike before but his family are into large displacement Holden's. He was suitably impressed. The second young bloke (Caleb) has always talked how Suzuki' s and the need for more than the grunt of the 1400. I wonder why both were shaking (physically) when we got home after about a 20 minute ride each. Both couldn't see the guages and both were staggered that we were doing 50 plus k's under what they thought we got up to. :)
