Just wondering why you didn't use the key in the back of the KIPASS transponder? I only ever use these keys if I want to take the seat off or remove/open the panniers and the main key always stays in the ignition.
You sure had a bad run there though; not the first time somebody has had the rear brake lock on due to a stone in the mechanism. Davo, do you know whether Kawasaki are going to do something about this? My dealer has been told by Kawasaki that rear brake lock on is caused by riding with your foot resting on the brake pedal and the "cure" is to adjust the pedal down and "educate" the customer. IMHO, anything to do with brakes should involve a recall -do we have any influence here?
