I couldn't sleep, thinking I could ride with my leg back on the rear peg for 1260k bugged me.

Answer, I went back out and found a triangular black plastic cover just above the right foot peg held on with small phillips headed screw.

I found a 75mm or so long stainless steel allen headed bolt and replaced the short phillips headed screw.

This extended a stub about 70mm long that I can at least "rest" my boot on. Pushed a piece of fuel hose onto it and split a piece of garden hose over that to give it some thickness, wrapped it with duct tape and there you have it.

I feel better now, back off to bed.
