Southern Highlands as a ride and maybe a bbq sounds even better to me. I know of a place( and you probably do too) in the mountains between Tumbarumba & Kiandra, on Elliot way, called Sue City.
There is a bbq area right on the Snowy river( it's marked on the map) and it's alovely spot
It's a migic ride as you all know. We could do the whole loop Canberra - Yass- Gundagai- Tumit- Tumbarumba, via Batlow-Kiandra-Adaminaby-Cooma & Home. It's a fair hike, but with an early start and a bbq for lunch we could do it easy. We could do the shorter route (Canberra-to Tumit via Bridabella) and then down the Snowy Valley highway, but last time I was on that road, It was a shocker, dirt with lots of rocks etc

Either way, It means an early start girls.....so what do you think
