My Dririder jacket & pants after 20 odd years of great service is looking very faded, but is still warm and totally waterproof. Has anyone any good ideas
of stuff that will restore the original colour

Hi Ben
I personally would try Dubbin/beeswax or anthing like that. Rub it in then buff it off.. There's plenty of stuff around, even that stuff we always get sucked into at Bike Shows... French sounding name What have you got to lose?
Cheers

I used the wax stuff that you get in a yellow tin. Guys will do your boots with it for free at various bike shows etc. I did my jacket on a hot day and it
soaked in really well.

Hi Ben Renapur I got mine from a Ulysses's agm about for years ago Mudgee I think you can get them at the AGM's but I do have a number you can ring
Burnside S.A 08 84310512 If that helps. If not you could try your local horse supply company Saddle Wax works just as good.

I bought mine at a market somewhere
years ago and seems to last and last and last. Very good product; although more for leather than the material used in Dryrider?
http://www.renapur.com/ Here's one from me. How do you wash a dryrider jacket? Bathtub? I know I have to handwash my Summer riding jacket, but maybe warm soapy water for the dryrider?? Mine's in great condition as is only 5 years old.
