Bad news from Mr & Mrs Schultz |

To all the women, my wife Wendy has been diagnosed with cancer and has had a mastectomy. Started Chemotherapy and Radiation treatment which will last 12 to 15
months. Will then need 5 years medications following this. The prognosis is good but she needs all the positive thoughts you can give her. I have broken my
collar bone badly needing a plate and screws inserted so unable to get on m'bike for a few months, but this is minor when compared with Wendy's
position.

It's devastating to have such an illness. I made comments on your other thread, and I will be thinking of you and yours. Trace' Mrs Tosh (HFG)

All the best Michael and Wendy, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy about 27 years ago, she still has regular check ups but has had no
more problems.
Once again all the best and my positive thoughts are with you both, take care. John

Keep positive, treatments are highly successful these days. We went through it with my wife nearly 20 years ago and like Gags mum she is fine now but does
have annual checks just to be sure.

To Wendy
& Micheal ,
Heal speedily as you can from both you problems. My m-i-l had a scape with the illness in a different part of her body around 12 years ago, kate was still quite young. Good Luck, you will both be in my thoughts and prayers for some time to come. So here's hoping that Wendy is one of those who will be with us in that many and more years time. Patience with the process, and tolerance of the intrusions/changes it makes you adjust to are the times you need to find the positives with. Chin up, and live life to the fullest both of you.
