Well. Some of you know, but most don't. The
Agency job with Telstra didn't work out the way I expected. That's life and have moved on. I've been working with the Australian Electoral
Commission for the last two weeks for their Enrol To Vote week initiative. Call centre work contacting all the secondary schools nationwide about the
programme. This too is through an agency, but much better people and have been quite enjoying the work. Finish the first stint tomorrow and then do some more
next month and some more in August. Kinda like permanent part-time in a way. Suits me for now and will look for more permanent work after the annual meet in
October.

I've really quite enjoyed my little stint at the AEC and with luck they
will want me to work for them again next month? Easy work and nice place to work too. Love that it's in a really old building. I've had a few bad
experiences with Recruitment Agencies, but Hays seem to be very professional and actually have my interests at heart. I really like my Consultant too and
she's been incredibly supportive from the beginning. I signed a contract for 7.30hrs work from 8am to 4pm and the AEC wanted to change the hours from 8.30
to 4.30pm. No big deal, but one of the reasons I took the job is the hours of work. Hays was good to their word and I was the only person doing 8am to 4pm.
Go me!! I believe Clare (My Consultant) will help me in whatever I want to do and feel confident that she will too. I'm feeling much better about
everything and my confidence has grown as a result too. Noosa IS SO close now. I can almost smell the warm air!!!
