Posts: 895 (15-Sep-08 7:03 PM) BattleStar Galactica Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	you'll have no problems from Clermont thru to Biloela. it does get a little roughish in spots but nothing to worry about. traveling at night thru there, i would advise caution, in fact be very cautious at the moment, bit of roadkill out currently, near got cleaned up by a monster going to work the other morning. thursday last week a hilux 2wd dual cab hit a monster, right smack in the middle of the front end. it was put on a tow truck, when i went past it i had to look twice at the damage... Biloela down thru to Gaynda is a bit bumpy, lot of black soil country thru there, and the road is deterioting quickly. apart from that all good! I plan to complete a run down to Hervey Bay completely in daylight, but would like to avoid the coastal route. I will be heading down to the Imbil Rally in November so the plans may still change, but one thing that I will avoid are those kamikaze macropods at dusk! I once did a 30 odd km run from the Undarra Lava Tubes to Mt Surprise at dusk and the buggers were literally lining up by the side of the road. Anyone else with a road report? Cheers, Pete
