        <![CDATA[ After fiddling around with spacers and stuff to raise the bars I have bit the bullet and bought the following.

New plain style bars.

A pair of alloy bar risers held down with 2 bolts each.


I&#39;m getting an aluminium plate made to mount the risers to.

This plate will bolt via some spacers (to keep it above the plastic bit that reminds me what I&#39;m riding) to the 2 inner bolt holes for the original bars.

Looks like it&#39;s going to work.

Just have to wait for $400 worth of hoses,... ]]>

Said if it lasts 500 ks its good, he knows I ride distance.

Hose kit included clutch and is a one piece hose from master cylinder to clutch slave cylinder.

Have decided to do head stem bearings as it&#39;s developed a bit of a shudder at low speed .

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;m a bit vague about the rise I want at present.

I&#39;ve been running 40mm box spacers with an outside bracket for extra support as the fork tube clamp can&#39;t be used.
<br>
My mod will allow me to add spacers under the 1 piece bracket to get the height I choose.
<br>
Then I can pick and choose bars as I like.
<br>
I had found the &quot;pull back&quot; on the standard bars too much for my wrists.

I didn&#39;t price standard as I wanted 200 mm longer.

the bars by 2&quot; (I have them on and they&#39;re great). They actually come with an extended length brake hose (not ADR compliant as such but compliant to
US standards - use at your own discretion)
