that will be great rob, and yes i hear wot you are saying about trying to get a ride in. i finally went for a ride around redcliffe this week
after my bike being of the road for the past 8 weeks, certainly goes a bit better than the postie bike !! i was contemplating going on a ride to
noosa tomorrow up through the hinterland etc, just a test run really, but they forecast another dust storm so will see what happens.

Tim - still planning to ride down (I need to get some sort of a ride in!!) I'm sure the early arrivals will be able to amuse themselves for a while!

As there was all this talk about Brisbane, thought I should start thinking about a trip to Noosa.
Plan "A" is to ride over and fly back. Looking for somewhere to park the "GTR" around Brisbane for 4 months till I fly over and do the Nambucca FarRide in February.
I don't have a plan "B".
Anybody have any space in a shed?
Would fly out of Brisbane on the Monday or Tuesday.
Just thinking at this stage, still got a couple of weeks to...

Ron and I have plans to explore some of the 'bears' roads on the way up, and come back down a different way, so we see different country. Not sure of the route at this stage, but once we are aware of the plan, will ask Ron to post it up, but it will probably still be changes along the way. Flexible is the way I like things. Looking forward to this trip, and having time with everyone there again....

I'm meeting my lovely wife Lee at Brissy airport at 1.15pm on the Friday, we'll then be riding 2up to our digs at the Australis Resort. I guess we'll miss the "convoy" heading north. See you all soon, woohoo!

P.S. Going via Melany etc sounds like the goods.

Sounds good. Me and Mr T will have an easy morning at "Club Robinson" in Fairfield and take our time to get up to (over to?) the Bruce Hwy and the BP. Brunch/lunch for us. Cool.

if there are any interested parties wanting to meet up in brisbane to travel the last 90 mins (roughly) to noosa in a group i will be at the 24hr bp at caboolture on the
bruce h'way just past morayfield rd turn off on the left roughly 500 metres. the place is a large car and truck stop which has mc donalds, kfc and the
usual eateries that these large establishments generally have.
at this stage i will be there from 10am on the friday and will be there for a few hrs. if...
