have been trying to find the topic still looking however BatteryWorld etc have miniture spot welders for welding batteries together, see the 2 spot weld marks
on the tab, like in drill battery packs, the battery is similer to the fog battery 2025 (20mm dia 2.5mm thick) there might be even enough room to us a 2030

Now have new tyres being fitted this Thursday and he will try replacing battery then.
