Fix a flat tyre

Just passing on some info that others may find helpfull. On our Townsville AGM trip, my mate had a flat back tyre at Nyngan( a nail right in the middle of the tread) I have had a can of Motol Tyre repair in a can. I have had it sitting in my pannier for a while and with most pressure pack things, you never really know if they are going to work when you need them. Anyway we just screwed it on hit the button and thirty seconds later, bingo, we were on our way again. The tyre did loose about 10...

My ideal 'add-on' to my bike would be; GPS (recording position, altitude, speed etc), datalogger (bike engine details www.kenma.com.au) and camera (VholdR www.twenty20camera.com) all linked together and downloadable to a mac. Imagine how easy it would be to create tour guides and great rides. Is this just dreaming or is there a way of doing this?????

Trip for a newbie

I would welcome some suggestions for a trip/tour. I have time available in May (ie not at work, kids in school etc) and was thinking about doing some sort of trip. Currently living in Brisbane, have not done any distances in Oz so far. The last big bike trip I did was in 1999 from Penang (Malaysia) to Bangkok on a Soozie 1100 katana (bugga, did my arse hurt after that ride, almost went out and bought a BMW, instead sold the soozie and bought a V-Max - the worlds number one most unsuitable...

Atttention all west members . Saturday 25 th August is going to be an overniter at Merredin. If you are interested please notify the caravan park as hard accomadation is filling fast. There is plenty of camping space though.
Dianne and I will be leaving Midland Maccas at 1:30 sharp for a relaxed ride to Merredin. We will be returning sometime on Sunday.
