Previous machinery has been R100RT and R1150RT, but the Kwaka&#39; certainly does it for me!

I purchased a low mileage 2003 model in Brisbane and then rode it home to Broome (arriving lunchtime today, a distance of 4,800km) with absolutely no issues
except weraing out a rear tyre.

			<description><![CDATA[ Here is a little mod for those with way too much spare time.......

In order to use the sixth unused idiot light, strip the bike down, strip the dash down completely, then just pop out the black plastic square.
<br>
Reassemble and then you can put in a globe or LED indicator or whatever kind of idiot light you want.

			<description><![CDATA[ As we all know the bike can be a bit warm in summer. Had this bodgied up belly pan and thought it might help cool things off .

I reckon its pretty ugly but I guess I can&#39;t see it when I&#39;m on the bike. It does reduce the heat trapped behind the fairing, but when I&#39;m tootling
along most of the hot air coming through the radiator comes out the right side onto my right shin.

is great, very aerodynamic, and will look pretty damn good.

			<description><![CDATA[ Yesterday i got a Michelin Pilot Road 2 for my 01 GTR 1000 120 /70 /18 it is a duel compound  $205 . I am not sure what i am going to do when i have to replace
the Dunlop 205 on the rear as Michelin do not make a matching rear tyre but i have 6 months to work that out. I got 18,000 out of the Dunlop 205 i had on the
front which was good but was not totally satisfied with it. The GTR 1400 boys are having good reports on the Michelin Pilot Road 2 so here&#39;s hoping
hopefully got another... ]]></description>

the front has scalloped, and I can just tell its gunna get worse. So its time to contemplate inflatable rubber products.

comfort, and bought a carry rack from a Member.

With the missus on the back, and plenty of room for our gear.....she actually packed her hair dryer! We left Perth, to Kalgoorlie. Then a run to Esperance, on

			<description><![CDATA[ Have just bought a &quot;Slipscreen&quot; windscreen for my 03 model GTR. from a company called &#39;Handcraftfibreglass&#39; at Seven Hills in Sydney 
It&#39;s about 5cm higher than standard, with the lip and tinted light grey and was already pre-drilled, ready to screw on. They also make them in different
sizes and colours. I paid $189.00 including the black plastic edging that goes around the edge.

i too have been given the not so good news that my cams have pitted and worn. The dealer quoted $1700 to get the rockers and cams resurfaced and ground. This
sounds a tad expensive to me. Does anyone know of any reputable cam grinders in brisbane who could do the job for me?

On the upside, it doesnt really seem to be effecting the bike&#39;s running at the moment, so maybe its a better idea to just not worry about it for the
moment?

$23000 plus on road and now they have gone up to $25000 on road...What concerns me is I was looking to update (by the way to another GTR 2009 model) and the
best I can get is $12000 thru $1400 trade in ....???????????  The Dealer told me that some other dealers were advertising for under $20000...but when u ring
