Schwarztwald is an aria in the South-West of Germany against the border with Zwitzerland I had to work until friday late afternoon and went after them. When we travel, we never Book a hotel but we go in the evening looking for a place to sleep. On friday evening they were at a litle place cald " Sankt Peter". I left home at 6pm and faced a trip of 610km. Weather forecasts looked good and they were right. The sun was hard at work, rain and wind had taken vacation. So with a temperature flirting with the 24 degree line, is was a perfect day to ride.

The route started in Riemst, in the north-east of Belgium, just at the border with the Netherlands. its a nice easy ride there and once there, the food at the pub is great stuff at reasonable prices. weekends at the pub generally attract a few bikes.
i will post something next week for departure times and locations if there is any interest. dont forget its a long weekend.
